The Tennis Club was established at its present site in 1921 and has grown into the area’s premier tennis club with Tennismark accreditation. Its quiet site with off road parking has six ‘Astroturf’ type courts and a recently re-built clubhouse with toilet facilities and changing area. But the club is so much more than its facilities – it is the members that make the real difference. With around 100 adults and with a large Junior Section, the club supports teams throughout the Driffield Lawn Tennis League as well as teams in the Ladies Fulford Invitation League and York Mens Tyke Leagues. If competitive tennis isn’t for you, the club offers http://pocklingtontennis.com/get-involved/" rel="nofollow">regular social tennis sessions that allow for all different types of people, with varying ability levels, to get together and have a friendly game.
