Beverley Community Lift

Community transport service based at Beverley, serving Cottingham, Market Weighton, Pocklington and surrounding areas, helping people who do not have easy access to transport. The charity, which was first launched in 1970 as the neighbourhood contact scheme – Beverley Community Care Service – operates minibuses for shopping and excursions, and a car service, taking people to medical and social appointments.
