Bridlington Sailing Cobble Preservation Society

Bridlington Sailing Cobble Preservation Society – The objects of the Society include the general promotion of the history of local cobbles, and also the provision of sea-going experience to interested members and organisations. The Society also exists to give assistance to the Harbour Commissioners in the maintenance and crewing of Three Brothers. Membership of the Society needs to grow to continue this valuable work in preserving part of Bridlington’s seafaring heritage. A member of Bridlington Sailing Cobble Preservation Society is entitled to get hands and knees (and any other part of their anatomy) dirty, paint with careless abandon (and in the process ruining their clothes), mess about in boats and, if the weather and tides are kind, to voyage in Three Brothers, a trip into history. Volunteers are required to man the Harbour Heritage Museum, too. Their time in the Museum earns the revenue to keep Three Brothers sailing.
