Brough Petuaria Centre

The Community Centre features three rooms which may all be booked for events and activity sessions. The centre is easily accessible on foot from Welton Road, and there is ample car parking to the rear of the building at the Centurion Way entrance. Meeting Room – There is a meeting room which is 36m2 (approx. 390ft2). Main Hall – The main hall  is 85m2 (approx. 900ft2). The hall features small windows at each end and a serving hatch through to the kitchen. Access to the kitchen is included in the price but should be booked on request. The kitchen is equipped with cutlery and crockery, however any refreshments must be provided by the user. The kitchen and premises are to be left in a clean and tidy condition and rubbish must be placed in the kitchen bin or taken away at the end of the session. Tea towels and hand towels are not provided. Interview Room – There is also an interview room with a desk, soft chairs and a coffee table. This room is available to hire and is charged at the discretion of the Management Committee. The room is 13m2 (approx. 140ft2). Additional Facilities – A projector and screen are also available to hire when a room is booked. If you require a caretaker’s help setting up a room (e.g. setting out tables and chairs etc.) then an additional charge of £12 may be applied at the discretion of the Management Committee. Discounts will be given to registered charities who are regular users of the Community Centre.

 

What’s On: Regular events and activity sessions are held at Brough Community Centre and Elloughton-cum-Brough Village Hall. Details and times are believed to be correct at the time of posting. The Petuaria Centre houses the East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Customer Service Centre and Brough Library. Call 0845 122 5000 for service details or 01482 393939. The centre is open six days a week: Library Opening Times: Monday 9:30am-4:30pm, Tuesday Closed, Wednesday 9:30am-4:30pm, Thursday 9:30am-4:30pm, Friday Closed, Saturday 9:30am-12:30pm. The library offers thousands of books with the latest self-service technology. There are 16 free public access computers, teenage and children’s areas, a refreshments and periodicals section, and public toilets.

The East Riding Council Customer Service Centre offers advice and assistance on all council services including application forms, help with form-filling, issuing travel passes, access to planning applications, and payment facilities for all council and some utility bills.
