The Cottingham Memorial Club is a Social Members Club situated in Cottingham, East Yorkshire. Cottingham is a thriving community of about 20,000 situated between Hull and Beverley. There are good local schools, a wide range of shops, good public transport links, several public houses, and golf, tennis, and bowling clubs in the locality. The Cottingham Memorial Club offers regular social events such as quiz and artiste nights, regular catering and 5 full size snooker tables. It was founded in 1920 as a facility for ex-servicemen after the end of the First World War. It moved to its current location, a Grade II listed building in 1950. The membership, which is open to both men and women, currently has around 750+ Members. Members domestic partners are currently entitled to admission at all times the Club is open. The Club is open all day seven days per week except Christmas Day.
