Inspire Hull

Inspire Hull reaches a wide range of people with creative projects that support to improve physical and mental well-being, help to develop friendships and feelings of purpose.

In 2015 we opened our cafe to the community to provide employment, volunteering and social opportunities. We are based at Jean Bishop Integrated Care Centre to cater to staff, patients and visitors to the centre as well as being open to the public. From this we also have Meals On Wheels, a C19 crisis response to ensure the vulnerable and isolated had access to hot, homecooked food. In 2016 we started a new project called Bring IT to Life. We encouraged more use of technology by people over the age of 60.

In 2018 we started Caring For Carers, to prevent or delay people being placed in residential care by helping to make life more enjoyable and more manageable for their carers in various ways
