Orchestra – Hessle Sinfonia

Hessle All Saint’s Church This is a small orchestra welcoming beginners and experienced new members. They meet fortnightly on Sunday afternoons from 2-4 pm. They encorporate all orchestra and band instruments, keyboard, recorder, folk harp, easy Classical, TV, Film, Religious, and lighter and folk music. All welcome, disabled access.

Hessle Sinfonia is a thriving amateur orchestra attracting players from Kingston upon Hull, the East Riding of Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. We give three public concerts each year, usually in the auditorium of Longcroft School and Performing Arts College, Beverley.

Our aim is to provide good classical music in a relatively informal setting.

The orchestra does not conduct formal auditions but will invite you to join us for a couple of our regular rehearsals at which we can find out whether we feel comfortable playing together. We rehearse on Thursday evenings at Swanland Village Hall.
