Papyrus Prevention of Young Suicide

PAPYRUS is the national charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under 35 in the UK. Every year many thousands more attempt or contemplate suicide, harm themselves or suffer alone, afraid to speak openly about how they are feeling.

Our suicide prevention helpline, HOPELINEUK, supports young people struggling with thoughts of suicide as well as those concerned about a young person. This is a free and confidential phone, text or email service. Support is available every day of the year between 9am and Midnight.

Our advisers are here to listen, offer guidance/next steps as well as help keep you safe for now. Call on 0800 08 4141, text 07860 039 967 or email pat@papyrus-uk.org.
