The East Yorkshire Family History Society

We are a Family History Society covering all East and much of North Yorkshire. We have helpdesks at various venues around the area to help people research their Family History. Our Base is the Carnegie Heritage Centre, Anlaby Road, Hull where our wide ranging resources and publications can be searched.

The society was formed following a public meeting held in Beverley Library in February 1977. Since then, we have gone from strength to strength with regular monthly meetings taking place in Beverley, Hull and Scarborough. These meetings may include a speaker on some family or local history topic or could take the form of a workshop, walkabout or social event.
